Brianne Elrod is an experienced Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT) at Crestview Elementary with 20 years in education, including 14 years as a General Education Teacher for grades 1-5 and 6 years as a dyslexia therapist. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Southwestern Assemblies of God University and is certified as an Academic Language Therapist.
In her role as Crestview Dyslexia Therapist, Brianne plays a vital role in supporting students with dyslexia and other reading difficulties. She conducts formal and informal assessments to identify students' specific needs, monitors progress in reading, writing, and spelling, and provides direct, multisensory, evidence-based instruction. Collaborating with educators and parents, Brianne develops individualized therapy plans and assists in setting measurable goals to support each student's growth. Her dedication to fostering literacy success makes her an invaluable asset to her school community.
